Day 28 on Captiva

Today began slowly this morning.  I had gone to bed early last night with a headache and still felt sluggish this morning.  It was cool outside so I made a pot of  Matzo ball soup for lunch using a mix. Served with bagel and cream cheese.

It warmed up enough in the afternoon to go the pool with books.

Al had a good evening at the races at Northfield (watched via internet and place bets through Bet Harness).  He had worked on his picks on Thursday and Friday after printing the program.

For dinner, I baked chicken breasts with Stove Top stuffing and gravy and served with fried okra and sliced tomatoes.   How's that for a Southern dinner but without the fried chicken?
