Day 31 Captiva

The Ovenbird known to us as the "Alarm Bird"  was very noisy waking us up early in the morning.  The temperature is cooler at 61 degrees.  After coffee and fresh pastries,  we walked over to the beach about 10:30 to check out what was happening.  Not many birds today but there was a lot of human activity off shore in the gulf.

Other activity on the beach:
We had brunch/lunch about 12:00 and headed to the pool about 2:00 for a couple hours. The weather did warm up enough for a swim and sitting in the sun.  I did another quick walk to the beach but no birds and nothing of interest.
Dinner was parmesan and panko crusted chicken tenders served green beans, buttered red potatoes and tomato slices with hot roll.
