Day 16 Captiva

Presidents' Day always bring the crowds to the islands so we planned a day close to the cottage.  Spent part of the morning starting entries on this blog.  I took a walk to the beach about 9am and found a lot of birds feeding on the plentiful fish near the shoreline including a lot of terns and gulls as well as the brown pelicans.

As I left the beach,  the Thriller tour boat made an early appearance:

After a brunch of scrambled eggs with lox and onion served with toasted bagels and cream cheese,  we went shopping at busy Chadwick Square across from South Seas Resort.  I purchased 2 shirts by Habitat from 2 Islands shop.  Returning to the cottage we spent the afternoon at the pool.

Dinner was grilled steaks with baked potatoes and caprese salad.
