Day 8 on Captiva

After coffee this morning we drove into Sanibel to shop at the Farmer's Market next to the library.  We bought some fresh scallops for dinner, zucchini, red pepper, fresh made mozzarella, and a bouquet of fresh flowers.

                                                      
 We then drove to the house for a lunch of sandwiches  and then spent some time on the beach.
 
For dinner, Al grilled the scallops after coating with olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon pepper using a recipe from Bobby Flay. We served the scallops with grits and arugula salad made with lemon vinaigrette  and topped with avocado and parmesan cheese.
