Day 28 on Captiva

Al, Jack ,and  I were up early to see the 6:30 am sunrise over the bay.

Jack and Loy took an early walk and stopped at the Sunshine Grill for breakfast. They were both making photographs of the early morning sights.  Jack got some great sunrise photos and the neighboring Osprey in the tree and flying.

Al and I also walked up to the rocks at Blind Pass and back down to the beach to the guest house.

Afternoon was spent at the beach on another beautiful day,
one of the prettiest and warmest of the week.

For dinner we walked to nearby Lazy Flamingo about 5:00 arriving before the crowd.  We ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell, fried oysters breaded and fried to perfection  with fries, cocktail sauce and lemon, fried prawns, served with more fries, cocktail sauce and lemon, and caesar salad with mesquite-grilled grouper, served with flamingo garlic bread.  We shared all dividing the dinners on 4 plates ...like having a feast of seafood.  Enjoyed with our choice of beer.

After dinner we walked across the street to watch the sunset just as it was setting  and then walked back to the guest house as the sky darkened for the night.  This was a relaxing and fun filled day.

Note: Al's New Phone arrived at 1:30 today and he very concerned about learning how to use it as well as his last one.  The operating procedures and use are very different.  We are going to give it a try but he is ready to return and get his old model back.
