Day 26 Captiva 2019

Thursday, Feb 28
Cannot believe this is the last day of February.  Almost 4 weeks in Captiva have gone by!
Another early morning with coffee on the porch at the cottage. Walk on the beach about 7:30 found it to be very quiet with no one to see but a couple of cormorants feeding at the shoreline.

Day 23 Captiva 2019

Monday, Feb 25
We had early start at 6. Enjoyed our coffee and pastry on this cool morning.  Walked on the beach about 9...no birds or anyone.  The man with the boat and  cages was back again...fishing for snow crab?

Quiet morning on the beach

These are photos made of path I took to the beach going through the empty lot across the street.

We had lunch of chicken salad on pita and chips. Cloudy afternoon was spent reading on the porch. Back to the beach for another walk about 1.  More clouds...man with cages was still there. No birds ….very few people. Flock of willets landed for short time before chased off by walkers.

I  walked around neighborhood taking some photos.
