Day 1-Day 7 Captiva

Sunday, February 3 through Saturday, February 9
Sunday
I am not going into many details about the first week at Captiva because I spent most of the time in bed sleeping and it would be very boring to write about that.   Al spent most of Sunday unpacking clothes and  some of  supplies from the car.  He also went to the Santiva General Store for some medicines and sandwich for lunch.  He went to Sunset Grill  for dinner of Crabcakes and Caprese salad.  He brought home some Lobster Bisque for me but I could not eat.  He had the bisque for lunch on Monday.
Monday
Al finished unpacking the car and went to the Captiva Island Store for groceries-milk, bread, eggs, etc. and more cold medicine.  He has kept busy taking care of me and organizing things.
He had dinner tonight at the Lazy Flamingo ordering Caesar Salad with Mesquite Grilled Chicken Breast.  This place is one of our faves for casual dining.
Tuesday
Another quiet day but feeling a bit better.  Did make sandwiches for lunch and made Bertolli frozen dinner of Shrimp and Linguini.
Wednesday
Tonight Al brought in carryout from Lazy Flamingo- Ribs and fries with coleslaw. Actually enjoyed eating,
Next 3 days were uneventful.  I spent most of time lazy on the sofa watching old movies.  Al spent time on the porch or at the pool reading and doing surveys.  We have eaten  all our meals at the cottage.
