Day 39 on Captiva

Today was a fairly uneventful day that began with our usual coffee......trying to adjust to the time change.  For lunch, I served BLT's with avocado and iced tea on the porch. We spent the afternoon at the beach watching willets and dolphins.  There have been no Great Blue Herons or eagles on the beach this year....missed them. We did see some skimmers land with the willets for a short time but they flew away before I could get in position with my camera.

We had dinner at Doc Ford's at South Seas Planation tonight.   There was no wait for inside seating but a 15 min wait for outside.  We chose inside and had a great booth near the entrance and had a great server named J.....

Since we have not eaten much dessert this trip, we ordered the Key Lime pie which was very good.
